Society 6.0

The topic of sustainability in our society is a deeply rooted part of us. We have understood that we can only develop further and use our resources sensibly if we continuously move and open our minds to new things, even if one topic may not interest us as much as another. Many topics in our society are closely linked without it being immediately clear to us. This makes the individual topics very complex. We have set ourselves the goal of preparing the economic, technological, and social topics in the sense of sustainability in a continuous joint learning process in such a way that we can arouse the interest of as many people as possible and invite them to help shape our common future. Only if we burn for our cause and seek and pass on solutions, we will achieve changes in society.

In order to exchange ideas on topics of our society and to learn from each other through our different perspectives, we offer events on the various topics. It is important to us that we do not exclude anyone. Everyone has earned our respect and can make a contribution to the sustainability and further development of our society.

Events.

World Heritage Watchmaking Craft.

UNESCO has included watchmaking in the list of intangible cultural heritages. „The watchmaking trade requires a broad knowledge of historical to electronic timekeeping. The transfer of theoretical knowledge, diverse craft techniques as well as skills for restoration and maintenance preserves the vitality of the watchmaking trade“*. This is the reason given by the Expert Committee on Intangible Cultural Heritage at the German Unesco Commission.

Meetings around the clock.

We offer various events to give you an insight into one of the oldest crafts: the watchmaking craft. No matter what your background is, these events will introduce you to a fascinating craft whose skills are and will remain in great demand in many areas of our economy. We are happy to answer your questions.

Leadership and meditation through work at the time

Leadership is hard work. This is often misunderstood by the people in the companies who are in operation. Executives rush from one appointment to another and are gradually exhausted as a result. Even the pandemic, which has reduced the travel activities of managers to almost zero, is only helping to a limited extent to maintain the necessary distance. Now you rush from one online appointment to the next and in the meantime have no way to gain distance, because the whole professional and personal life in the pandemic takes place only in your own home. We would like to support you under professional guidance in your task and inspire you to get a different perspective on your time and thus to find the necessary peace and strength for your work again.

Target audience. Leaders at all levels.

The number of participants is very limited in order to be able to provide each participant with the necessary space and tools. A maximum of 5 participants will be admitted per event. The event will take place from 3 participants.

Special about the event is that you are one of the few people in the world who have got to know something that only very few people master from an excellent craftman. Events around technologies and sustainability.

Technologies play an essential role when it comes to sustainability. Sustainable technologies are those technologies that improve the living conditions of people and societies in the sense of the UN Sustainable Development Goals without this having any negative social or ecological consequences.

We have understood that our earth is only partially resilient. We do not want to and must not live at the expense of other people and future generations. In order to be able to continue to live well, other people who cannot live so well and to enable future generations to live a good life, it is important to change our production techniques and our consumer behavior and also to identify new technologies that are ecologically and economically sustainable.

In the sense of a holistic development, we not only look at technologies from a one-sided point of view, but also include all aspects of technologies and their applications in our considerations. We support our members in getting to know the technologies from a wide variety of areas and taking the appropriate steps towards greater sustainability using the latest technologies.

Kick-off topic. What can technologies do for sustainability?

We all use technology. We surf the Internet with smartphone, pad and co., stream music and videos, store our data in the cloud, drive a car, fly on a business trip or on vacation. We hear about microplastics in water, harmful engine technology, digitization, CO2 footprint and circular economy. This is just a small excerpt of what we are confronted with on a daily basis. It is perfectly natural that we do not always understand everything, that we feel that we do not receive enough information or the wrong information, or that we are simply too one-sidedly informed. In our kick-off event What can technologies contribute to sustainability?, we present selected technologies that contribute to making our environment cleaner, reducing the CO2 footprint or changing the way we learn.

Target audience.  Companies and businesses, organizations and individuals who are interested in technologies and sustainability and who want to expand their knowledge. Previous knowledge is not mandatory.

Events around the construction industry.

Kick-off topic. Sustainability in construction.

The construction of new living space today presents many with great challenges: builders, architects, building material suppliers, crafts. Ecological building is one of the important topics of the future in our society. This begins with the conception of buildings, the production of safe building materials, their procurement, processing, and disposal. Both the energy demand during the operation of the building and the control of the resource requirement, such as water consumption, are important pillars of ecological construction. A not negligible contribution to sustainable construction is suitable green areas for people and animals, such as greening buildings or insect-friendly gardens. In our kick-off event Sustainability in Construction, we present selected topics relating to the construction industry that make a contribution to ecological construction and thus less pollute our environment.

Target audience.  Companies and businesses, organizations and individuals who are interested in construction and sustainability and who want to expand their knowledge. Previous knowledge is not mandatory.
